About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Interstellar Lab. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage bills of materials in MRP systems to optimize material usage and on-time delivery.
  • Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine material requirements and develop production plans that meet our needs.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks in the supply chain and develop solutions to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock without overspending.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure seamless material flow.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a science discipline.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in material planning or production scheduling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of production planning principles and techniques.
  • Proficient in forecasting and inventory management software (e.g., MRP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience navigating multitier bills of materials and work orders.
  • Experience working in a production environment.
