About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise IT Security Engineer to join our team at Datadog. As a key member of our Enterprise IT Security team, you will play a critical role in securing our endpoints, applications, infrastructure, services, and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain secure architectures for our IT infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Threat Detection and Response: Develop and implement threat detection and response strategies to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into our development processes and that security risks are properly assessed and mitigated.
  • Security Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and contribute to the development of new security standards and procedures.
  • Employee Education and Awareness: Educate employees on security best practices and provide guidance on maintaining a secure environment.

Requirements:

  • Security Experience: Several years of experience in security engineering, threat detection, and response.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in endpoint protection, threat and anomaly detection, vulnerability management, and cloud-based systems.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reason about complex security challenges.
