Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Projects Manager to join our team at Lagardère Travel Retail. As a key member of our Group Operational Excellence Department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic projects and coordinating these projects from end-to-end.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure PMO for the projects you're in charge of, organizing work and project teams, coordinating various teams and functions involved in countries or HQ.
- Produce all documentation needed to roll-out the project, including good practices, guidelines, training documents, webinars, and Executive Summaries targeting top management.
- Monitor and document qualitative and quantitative results after implementation, building strong benchmarks and REX, and actively sharing operational good practices to foster continuous improvement in all countries.
- Support countries in the day-to-day for the operational implementation of the projects, with a hands-on and field approach.
- Actively contribute to the LEaP and in the future STARS' programs animation, preparation of documents and presentation to project teams/countries/EXCOM, communities animation, organization of webinars and operational events, newsletters, and contribution to the creation and animation of a new internal recognition program.
Requirements
- Master in Management or Engineering, ideally with 5 years of professional experience in Operations, Strategy, Project Management, or Finance.
- Good command of project management and Microsoft Office, with analytical skills and fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
- Taste for challenge, flexibility, curiosity, and versatility, with autonomy, decision-making, and ability to deal with the unexpected.
- Capacity to manage various tasks and projects, deliver ambitious results, and good anticipation, organization, and priority management skills.
- Strong interest for operations, field, and hand-on approach, with synthesis skills (oral and written) and good communication and interpersonal skills.
