Johnson Electric is a global leader in motion solutions, and we're seeking an experienced R&D Engineering Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our team of skilled engineers and providing technical support to drive product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 5 engineers and contribute to projects as an individual
  • Integrate customer requirements into product development from design to serial production
  • Allocate resources for testing, validation, and tooling
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams on Vision/Lightning product development, component design, and change management
  • Ensure technical documentation is organized and design justifications are clear
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and customer audits and visits
  • Ensure compliance with IATF and ISO standards
  • Apply and ensure the application of safety, environmental, and security rules
  • Manage risk boundaries and validate decisions

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in product development and project management in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in French and English
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of IATF and ISO standards
  • Commitment to sustainability
