Cloud Solutions Architect
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amadeus Reservation. As a key member of our engineering service, you will be responsible for driving the architecture vision for our RES ecosystem of applications. With a strong focus on cloud-native technologies, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure our solutions meet the functional and non-functional requirements of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will:
- Develop and maintain the architecture vision for RES, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native applications, leveraging Azure public cloud and other relevant technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to component teams, promoting best practices and ensuring adherence to architecture principles.
- Participate in strategic studies at the company level, representing RES to shape the tech vision and drive innovation.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing cloud-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, principles, and practices.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C++.
- Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
