Job Summary
Amadeus is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our Hospitality Enterprise Architecture team. As a Cloud Architect, you will design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will leverage your expertise to craft robust architectures that meet performance, cost, and security requirements, supporting our digital transformation journey.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Translate business needs into technically sound and cost-effective Azure architectures
- Select and configure appropriate Azure services based on specific requirements
- Automate infrastructure deployments and manage DevOps pipelines
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency
- Implement strong security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and security professionals
- Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and Azure services
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure or equivalent, including compute, storage, networking, and security services
- Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings
- Proven ability to design, implement and present highly available and scalable solutions to non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest cloud technologies
