We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Communication Specialist to join our team at the University of the Virgin Islands. As a key member of the Communication Unit, you will play a vital role in promoting quality branding and imagery as a student journalist who impacts the USVI, the Caribbean, and the world.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and disseminate information about Communication unit student accomplishments
- Respond to inquiries, comments, and suggestions relative to student publications
- Edit videos using IMOVIE or similar software
- Aid in the creation/production of material for UVI Film Festival
- Forward relevant links that may include draft/original published articles, social media posting, videos, and images
- Positive change agents, willing to follow directions, learn new strategies, and demonstrate traditional communication techniques
