As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and the effective application of Quality Management System principles at Zimmer Biomet.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage global supplier quality systems initiatives aimed at enhancing and sustaining the Supplier Quality Management System.
- Collaborate with senior management to strategize quality systems objectives and align them with corporate goals.
- Oversee cross-functional teams in the execution of corporate quality systems strategies.
- Drive the development and implementation of standardized supplier quality practices across the organization.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within Zimmer's quality systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to products, systems, and processes.
- Assist various teams in conducting audits and evaluations of internal processes and supplier facilities.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Project Management within the Quality or Regulatory Compliance sector is essential. Holding a CQE or equivalent certification is advantageous.
Essential Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of quality system components, including purchasing controls and resource management.
- Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies, including inspection techniques and statistical process control.
- Ability to manage daily operations of Corporate Supplier Quality Systems projects effectively.
- Competence in developing and adapting project work plans to meet evolving requirements.
- Strong commitment to applying Quality Systems methodologies and maintaining project standards.
- Expertise in harmonizing best practices for supply chain management and supplier quality on a global scale.
- Ensure that all project documentation is thorough and up-to-date.
- Demonstrate strong project management, technical expertise, and time management capabilities.
- Exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement and independent problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Eagerness to learn and apply new skills as required.
