Arkane Lyon is a renowned game development studio established in 1999, known for creating immersive games with unique style and action. Our titles, including the Dishonored franchise and DEATHLOOP, have received numerous prestigious awards.

Our Current Project

We are developing Marvel's Blade, a third-person, single-player, action-adventure game set in Paris. This game features an original story with our signature immersive gameplay and world-class narrative.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand game design, engine, and hardware constraints.
  • Define technical constraints for characters and animated objects.
  • Integrate resources into the engine, ensuring compliance with constraints and performance monitoring.
  • Create advanced rigs and skinning for characters, creatures, and props.
  • Develop tools to improve rigging and animation pipeline.
  • Collaborate with artistic teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Setup character ragdolls and cloth physics.
  • Share knowledge on latest technological advancements with other technical artists.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Maya and Python.
  • Outstanding rigging and deformation skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Demonstrate team spirit, autonomy, and organization.
  • Balance aesthetic, usability, and technical complexity.
  • Experience with MotionBuilder is a plus.
