Role Overview:
As part of Safran Electrical & Power (SEP), you will join a dedicated team focused on continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation of the company strategy for continuous improvement within your scope.
- Lead and support all SE&P Safran+ and Lean Sigma initiatives.
- Facilitate necessary process enhancement activities (Workshops, Kaizen events, BPR, Coaching).
- Support all SE&P Division improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the SE&P White Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt training and certification processes within your area.
- Manage the collaboration between SE&P Safran+ communities within your scope.
In charge of the comprehensive deployment of improvements at the SE&P level by coaching, training, teaching, and evaluating the teams involved in this project while assisting operational management teams in developing and executing their respective improvement plans.
Assist in consolidating project and improvement plan progress within your area.
Key Qualifications:
Identify and implement lean sigma tools, processes, and practices (Lean-Sigma, visual management, etc.).
Actively promote the sharing of best practices within SE&P.
Provide essential methodological support to teams engaged in continuous improvement activities.
Encourage a collaborative innovation initiative that fosters employee involvement in their work environment.
Continue to support functional leadership in advancing their respective improvement roadmaps aimed at simplifying and enhancing the flexibility of company processes in daily operations.
Organize necessary benchmarking to elevate overall company performance.
This role corresponds to a Master Black Belt / Black Belt profile, requiring:
- Extensive experience in the aerospace industry and functional team management.
- Strong background in aerospace industry processes, methods, tools, continuous improvement, and leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of SEP processes, particularly in Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to conduct effective workshops at all organizational levels.
- Experience in leading international cross-functional teams, training, and coaching.
- Proficiency in managing complex transversal projects involving multidisciplinary and international teams.
- A hands-on approach to actively engage in significant improvement events.
- Fluency in English (spoken, read, and written), with English as the common working language.
