In this role, you will support the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in shaping and implementing the organization's cybersecurity vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the cybersecurity operations team, including both in-house and outsourced services, ensuring the prompt and effective delivery of cybersecurity solutions.
- Assess and deploy cybersecurity tools and technologies to strengthen the organization's security framework and capabilities.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the cybersecurity threat landscape, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the CISO and relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate the incident response efforts, ensuring that incidents are accurately identified, contained, analyzed, resolved, and documented.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, ensuring that identified vulnerabilities are addressed or mitigated based on their risk level by various teams within the IT department.
- Evaluate and manage the cybersecurity risks confronting the organization, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, standards, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Computer Science (or equivalent), with comprehensive knowledge of the entire IT portfolio (IT Operations, Infrastructure Management, Application Management, etc.) and a minimum of 25 years of extensive experience in the IT sector, particularly in a similar capacity.
- In-depth understanding of security norms and standards (CIS Controls, NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, CVE) and general IT frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
- Strong technical expertise in IT architecture, networking, and IT infrastructures, ideally having begun their career in system management, system engineering, or software development.
- Proficient in English, as the role will involve collaboration within an international team.
