We're looking for a highly skilled and versatile engineer to lead initiatives that increase resiliency across our products, showcasing SRE best practices. As a key member of our Platform Engineering domain, you'll collaborate with other Staffs to define technical requirements and drive initiatives that enhance resiliency.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our business and developers.
  2. Collaborate with other Staffs to define technical requirements and drive initiatives that enhance resiliency.
  3. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  4. Actively participate in the Platform Engineering domain with other Staffs and Managers.
  5. Architect robust and resilient systems that can adapt to evolving business requirements and technical challenges.
  6. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  7. Drive initiatives to improve engineering processes, code quality, and overall system reliability.
Requirements
  1. You have a BS in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
  2. Experience in DevOps, SRE, or CloudOps.
  3. Proficiency in TypeScript (NodeJS).
  4. Proficiency in Terraform, Serverless, CloudFormation, and/or other IaC tools.
  5. Experience with cloud computing such as AWS and GCP.
  6. Fluency in English.

  1. Someone who can operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams and timezones, and navigate technical ambiguity with only high-level direction.
  2. Highly collaborative and focused on building relationships across all departments.
  3. Self-driven and can deliver on ambiguous projects despite incomplete or inaccurate data.
  4. Ability to build relationships with different players in the tech area at various levels of the organization.
  5. Track record of building and maintaining web products used by millions of users.
  6. Good knowledge of Open Telemetry.
  7. Experience with Cloudflare Zero Trust and Cloudflare Workers.
  8. Good knowledge of modern Web Application libraries and tools: React, Webpack, Jest, Cypress, etc.
  9. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our products and technical architecture.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on technical topics, providing guidance and support to colleagues across all departments.
  11. Lead by example, promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, and excellence within the engineering organization.
