Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for building, growing, and leading the teams that develop and maintain our Dashlane web extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a strong ownership culture within your team, driving accountability and growth in a rapidly evolving business environment.
- Help your direct reports develop as managers, leaders, engineers, and teammates, fostering a culture of growth and development.
- Recruit new engineering managers and software engineers, contributing to Dashlane's visibility in the tech community in Portugal.
- Support teams by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to deliver results without friction.
- Lead initiatives to improve our current systems and processes, aligning with the company's mission and goals.
- Contribute to shaping roadmaps and technical initiatives, including refinement sessions, ADRs, and other technical documents.
- Work closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver on our Product Roadmap.
- Help define the direction of the Product Experience teams to improve the stability, security, and quality of the Dashlane product.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in people management, ideally in a distributed environment.
- 1+ years of experience in managing engineering managers or technical leaders, ideally in a distributed environment.
- Fluency in English.
We're Also Looking For
- Experience working in a company of similar size and scaling up (100-500 employees).
- Experience working in a distributed team across multiple timezones.
- A BS in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management, or a similar relevant field.
