Job Title: Junior Nursery Assistant

Your Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome children and their parents into our nurturing setting.
• Carefully observe and assess children's individual needs, monitor their development, and provide regular progress reports to the team.
• Organize daily activities and routines according to the specific requirements of the children and established guidelines.
• Provide attentive hygiene and comfort care to ensure the well-being of each child in our care.
• Assist with mealtimes and snack breaks, promoting healthy eating habits.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for both living spaces and children at all times.
• Support children in developing their sensory and motor skills through engaging activities.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, sharing observations and insights to ensure consistent care.
• Actively participate in professional development sessions and practice analysis discussions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a CAP AEPE or CAP PE diploma with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Or, possess a childminder qualification with 3 years of experience.

Working Conditions:

• Fixed-term contract for 35 hours per week.
• Atypical working hours (6am-8:30pm).
• Valid driving license required.
