Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and assess the certification regulations and standards applicable to consumer electronics products, including mobile devices and tablets, within the EU and its member nations, ensuring awareness of the latest regulatory developments and identifying emerging trends.
- Engage in the development of regulations and standards on behalf of the organization, collaborating with EU authorities, industry associations, and standardization bodies.
- Evaluate compliance risks and analyze the implications of EU certification regulations and standards; offer strategic compliance guidance and actionable compliance plans.
- Build and maintain technical partnerships with market surveillance authorities, institutions, and testing laboratories across the EU to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
- In-depth understanding of the certification regulations and standards within the EU and its member states, with experience related to organizations such as CEN/CENELEC/ETSI.
- Proven experience in managing certification compliance processes for consumer electronics, with the capability to deliver comprehensive compliance solutions.
- Knowledge of market surveillance practices in the EU, with a preference for candidates who have experience with recognized consumer electronics brands.
Candidates should possess expertise in certification of terminal products.
This position is categorized as an Individual Contributor role, offering a competitive salary range of €65k - €135k per annum, commensurate with the candidate's level of experience.
