About the Role
Our EMEA Retail Design & Development Center (RDDC) team is seeking a Visual Merchandising & Store Design Assistant to join our dynamic team. We are responsible for guiding and advising affiliates across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and India on every in-store initiative that brings to life the marketing calendar. Our goal is to create impactful consumer journeys and storytelling for our launches, hero products, and permanent collections, always adhering to brand guidelines and DNA.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop tools to help markets stay up-to-date with new collateral launches and merchandising guidelines.
- Support the VM team with regional production of launch and permanent displayers (create briefs, follow up).
- Create or adapt VM assets in conformity with brand equity and directions provided by Global, Marketing, and Creative teams.
- Develop technical drawings (DTO) of VM assets.
- Contribute to the development of VM guidelines.
- Update lineups, schematics, and planograms for different store concepts.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among various departments.
- Conduct VM competition surveys and identify best practices for scaling.
- Adapt guidelines for the creation of spaces according to market demands.
- Produce 3D store images (SketchUp) for internal and external validation.
- Develop preliminary plan packages (APS) for markets.
- Monitor production (validate shopfitters' technical plans, verify production up to remote installation).
- Support the SD team with design layouts for all kinds of formats and concepts.
- Assist the SD team with Plan set and Technical drawings corrections.
- Create 3D models of new stores for market validations.
- Provide support throughout all phases of a store opening.
About You
You are a highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for visual merchandising and retail design.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of brand identity and visual communication principles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
