Silicon Product Innovation Manager

We're looking for an experienced Silicon Product Manager to join our SnapLab team at Snap Inc., who can help us design and develop innovative technologies that improve the end product experience.
Key Responsibilities- Break down complex problems into manageable steps, driving product development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technologies.
- Define requirements for custom SOC hardware that brings key user experiences to life and differentiates our devices by delivering significant end-user impact.
- Work collaboratively across software and hardware engineering teams, project management, industrial design, and external partners to select challenges to overcome through custom silicon, build multi-year roadmaps that align with our long-term device strategy, and secure executive support for ML and SOC hardware.
- Ensure ML and SOC hardware has a clear path to productization and drive internal stakeholder and partner engagements necessary for on-time development and launch.
- Drive ML, CV Research, Hardware, Software co-design between the Silicon team and various device and software teams across the company.
- Establish relationships with app partners internally and externally to develop knowledge of capabilities and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with device-level product, legal, and multiple cross-functional teams for product launches enabled with internal AI silicon.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10-15 years of experience in product management and development at a semiconductor company shipping commercial products.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Hardware and Software Engineering, Product Engineering, Industrial/Product Design, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Partnerships, and Legal.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI platforms and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, TensorRT, etc.).
- Experience with developing custom silicon for computer vision-based silicon products, preferably in consumer electronics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with developer tools for mobile/edge compute applications targeting processors (e.g., CPU, GPU, DSP, or specialized ML accelerators).
- Experience with commercializing computer vision products and/or algorithms such as SLAM, Depth, ISP functions for ML needs.
- Experience with enablement of security functions needed in consumer-grade silicon products.
