Job Title : Senior Drilling Engineer - Offshore Foundations

Job Description :
As a Senior Drilling Engineer - Offshore Foundations at COMSIP, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct understanding of work procedures, preparing the work kick-off meeting with the internal team, subcontractor team, and client representative.

In operation, you will ensure that the work is performed in compliance with the procedure and task plan, and in the time frame as estimated in the operation schedule. In case of changes, you will propose alternative methods and participate actively in the management of change.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and select the proper methodology of installation related to the scope of work in charge.
  • Issue work procedure and detailed task plan as per project requirement, HSE, and quality project and client standards.
  • Establish the required installation documents, taking into account the schedule of transmission of deliverables to the client. Ensure follow-up of client comments and document approval.
  • Define the part of the installation scope of work to be subcontracted and establish subcontractors' scope of work.
  • Establish the listing of equipment required for the activity in charge.
  • Work in direct liaison with the project procurement manager to call for tender and analyze subcontractors' and suppliers' proposals.
  • Participate in the selection of subcontractors and validate technical dossiers.
  • Establish the schedule of equipment supply and resource plan, as well as the overall schedule of the activity.
  • Prepare technical reviews of procedures for the project and corporate technical team comments and approval.
  • Work in liaison with the operation engineer in charge of the performance of the scope and manage interfaces to ensure the feasibility of the operation as per the procedure.
  • Participate in the process of lessons learned.

Required Skills :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position.
  • Entire career in maritime/oil and gas.
  • Experience in construction/site management in our sector.
  • Professional English.
