We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Performance team at SCOR. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our strategic plans, as well as providing financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning and Analysis
- Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans, including operating plans, full-year landing updates, and quarterly landing processes.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions, including variance analysis and performance measurement.
- Financial Modeling and Reporting
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Business Partnering and Collaboration
- Act as a business partner to various teams within the organization, providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business solutions.
- Project Management and Coordination
- Manage and coordinate various projects and initiatives, including financial planning and analysis, process reengineering, and capital allocation.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Education and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in reinsurance or insurance.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, financial audit, controlling, consolidation, or financial consulting.
- Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (in particular IFRS 17) and Solvency II.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with SAP solutions (e.g. BFC, BPC, etc.).
- Business and finance education (business school, MBA, Bac + 5 equivalent) and/or actuarial degree.
- Full proficiency in English written and spoken.
