Job Title: Senior Installation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Installation Engineer to join our team in Grenoble or Rousset, France. As a key member of our Iteam department, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning semiconductor tools across European regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tool installation tasks, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and robot calibrations.
  • Test equipment with assistance from senior engineers and existing documentation.
  • Respond to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
  • Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked, and non-conformances.
Requirements:
  • Associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree with a technical background in mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar.
  • Some experience or knowledge with Applied Materials CVD/CMP/EPI tools is an advantage but not required.
  • Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical issues during system installation.
  • Ability to communicate daily pass-downs and equipment status reports.
  • Project management skills to control installation projects within budget, timeline, and installation quality requirements.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
