Senior Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to join our team in Grenoble or Rousset, supporting European regions. As a key member of our Iteam department, you will be responsible for installing semiconductor tools across Europe, primarily in France, Italy, and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform tool installation tasks, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and robot calibrations, from integration to inspection.
- Follow checklists and procedures, ensuring correct documentation and schematics are available prior to work.
- Test equipment with assistance from senior engineers, using existing documentation and diagnostic techniques.
- Respond to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
- Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked, and non-conformances.
- Adhere to security policy and quality standards of Applied Materials and its customers.
- Associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree with a technical background in mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar.
- Some experience or knowledge with Applied Materials CVD/CMP/EPI tools is an advantage but not required.
- Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical issues during system installation.
- Ability to communicate daily pass-downs and equipment status reports.
- Project management skills to control installation projects within budget, timeline, and installation quality requirements.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
This position requires extensive travel throughout Europe, approximately 75% of the time, depending on overall activity requirements.
