We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Product Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our Credit and Risk Solutions commercial team, you will play a critical role in helping our Sales Specialists monetize and leverage our credit capabilities.
The Team:You will be part of a dynamic and focused team that has experienced significant growth and product development in recent years. Our team is responsible for delivering credit workflow solutions to the European market, and we are looking for someone with a strong understanding of credit risk management and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
The Impact:The role of the Credit Product Specialist is critical to the success of our business. You will work closely with our Sales Specialists, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to diagnose, distill, design, and deliver credit workflow solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise and credibility will be essential in helping us to drive revenue growth and client retention.
Responsibilities:- Establish relationships with Sales Specialists and Product Managers to help diagnose, distill, design, and deliver credit workflow solutions specifically to the European market.
- Align with Commercial and Product strategy for credit products and execute high-level pre-sales and post-sales implementation plans.
- Serve as a credit product matter expert across functional groups.
- Demonstrate excellence across SPGMI credit capabilities.
- Help clients establish robust frameworks for integrating ESG factors into their credit assessment frameworks and understanding the potential impact of ESG on their credit portfolios.
- Develop campaigns and initiatives for driving revenue growth for segment-specific sales and assist in client retention work around credit products.
- Stay well connected to strategic credit customers in the market.
- Collaborate internally to help design and deliver credit training on appropriate products.
- Undertake thought-leadership pieces, speakerships at relevant conferences, and SPGMI credit webinars.
- Possess keen awareness of competitors and relative strengths.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts, assist in RFPs, and test cases for regulatory requirements such as IFRS9.
- Strong grasp of credit risk management.
- In-depth understanding of complex client credit risk workflows ideally across multiple segments (Corporates, Commercial and Investment Banking, Insurance, and Investment Management).
- Ability to interact confidently with the team, prospects, and clients as well as cross-functional teams within the organization, i.e., Product Management, Education, Legal, and Marketing.
- Ability to solve complex problems and, when necessary, adopt a new perspective using expert judgment.
- Possession of exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed and a positive outlook.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task.
- 5+ years relevant industry experience in credit and risk management.
- Someone strong in Excel and has credit modeling capabilities.
