At Accor, we're looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at the 25hours Hotel One Central. As a key member of our finance department, you'll be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as managing the hotel's accounts payable and receivable functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage the hotel's accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and receipts.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting on operational performance, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget adherence.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow, ensuring the hotel's financial stability and liquidity.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation for external audits and liaise with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management, supporting business development initiatives and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
