Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strong financial performance at the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial input into the formulation and implementation of the Hotel Strategic Plan and Budget.
- Establish and maintain adequate controls for all revenues and expenses and protection of assets.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Manage the hotel's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet financial obligations.
- Prepare detailed operating and capital budgets, accurately forecasting revenue and expenses and monitor actual performance against budgets and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate timely and accurate financial reports and conduct financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Hospitality Management.
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a similar or finance leadership role.
- Certification from professional institution such as Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Management Accountant, etc. is required.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as financial modelling, budgeting, and reporting software - OASYS, OPERA, FMC etc. is required.
- The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team is paramount.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
