We are a leading offshore geoscience and geotechnical engineering consultancy, specialising in marine geophysics and geotechnics, ground modelling, foundation engineering, cables/pipelines, trenching and numerical analyses. Our teams work primarily in the offshore renewable energy sector and occasionally in the oil and gas industry, serving clients who design, install, and operate offshore, nearshore, and onshore facilities.
Our ExpertiseWe have a strong pipeline of projects and anticipate accelerating growth with the development of wind farms in various regions. Our team is looking for experienced, fully independent, senior geotechnical engineers to join us in Nanterre, France, in senior level roles. The successful candidate will be independent and autonomous in their activity, managing projects from technical to financial and administrative aspects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects, including ground characterisation, submarine cable engineering, ground modelling, investigation design and supervision, foundation design and installation, and other consultancy activities.
- Work independently, as part of a team, or manage teams of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, geophysicists, and GIS specialists.
- Interact with clients, think outside the box, and push the boundaries of knowledge in the industry when required.
- Contribute to research and development initiatives, participate in international conferences, and prepare technical papers.
- A master's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 10 years of post-study experience in ground modelling, foundation engineering, and geotechnical design methods or in support of large infrastructure projects.
- Direct, extensive experience in geotechnical design of foundations and cables, ground modelling, site investigation, offshore, and wind farm industry.
- Installation, operations, and maintenance experience, particularly for offshore structures, is a plus.
