The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled US Tax Specialist to join our team at Snaphunt. As a key member of our accounting firm, you will play a critical role in analyzing tax returns, preparing filings, and consulting with clients on tax-related matters.
The Role
- Review and analyze tax returns to identify any discrepancies or opportunities for optimization.
- Prepare accurate tax filings for the current year, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide tax consultation services to clients, answering queries and advising on tax savings strategies.
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial situations and provide tailored tax advice.
- Coordinate with our outsourced team, ensuring seamless integration of financial data with tax preparation efforts.
- Utilize tax software such as QuickBooks, Intuit ProConnect for efficient tax return processing.
The Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and consulting, with a solid understanding of US tax laws.
- Proficiency in using major tax preparation and accounting software, including QuickBooks and Intuit ProConnect.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with prior experience in remote work environments preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of managing both simple and complex tax scenarios.
- Professional communication skills, suitable for client interactions, with the ability to convey tax-related concepts clearly.
- A proactive attitude towards career growth, eager to take on leadership responsibilities and drive the firm's expansion.
