Electrical Engineer for Train Electrical Systems

Alstom is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Train Development Site in Paris Saint-Ouen. As a key member of our Electrical team, you will be responsible for all electrical engineering deliverables, including defining the electrical baseline and input data for our Electrical Center of Excellence (COE E) in Toulouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering solutions for train systems, including Train System (Train performances and systems definition), Train Design (Mechanical Architecture, Car body), Train Control (Functional and software architecture), RAMS (Reliability, Safety, Ability), and EMC expert.
  • Collaborate with the project team and our Electrical Center of Excellence (COE E) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and industrialize electrical systems, including electrical CAD (E3S/Catia EHI) expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of electrical engineering standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of experience in electrical installation & architecture on a train or other products in the aeronautic, automotive, naval, or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Good practice of electrical CAD (E3S/Catia EHI).
  • Strong international exposure and excellent English communication skills.
  • Multicultural openness and ability to work in a diverse team.
