Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our Central Area Commercial Sales team. This is a remote-based position responsible for customers within and around the Iowa market.
Job Summary:The Territory Manager will be responsible for the sale of GAF Commercial roofing products, acting as a liaison between GAF and our clients. The successful candidate will build lasting relationships, close new business, and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify market opportunities with contractors, distribution, lumber dealers, design professionals, retail, and co-ops, with a focus on building meaningful relationships.
- Own, progress, and close the sales funnel, turning potential opportunities into closed wins, through value-selling the benefits of GAF products and services.
- Display strong negotiating tactics by leveraging value propositions and pricing strategies.
- Compile reporting to highlight hits, misses, learning, competitive landscape, and strategic next steps, proactively identifying opportunities to exceed expectations.
- Influence the building materials industry, constantly networking to become a trusted advisor to existing and potential customers.
- Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
- 5+ years sales experience in the building material industry is preferred.
- Multi-channel experience selling roofing materials to distributor, contractor, lumber dealer, design professional, commercial property owner, retail & co-ops is ideal.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- A competitive salary range of $90,000 - $115,000.
