Job Title: Export Sales Assistant

Job Overview:

The Export Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing various administrative tasks related to international trade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare competitive quotes for clients.
  • Investigate and evaluate various transportation options to optimize shipping processes.
  • Input and track orders within the ERP system to ensure accurate processing.
  • Oversee administrative duties associated with export operations.
  • Understand and manage international shipping terms, including Incoterms.
  • Facilitate communication regarding order preparation and delivery schedules.
  • Handle invoicing, payment processing, and refunds efficiently.
  • Maintain and update pricing structures and sales conditions.
  • Regularly update the customer database to ensure accuracy.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve transport-related issues promptly.
  • Coordinate the sending of product samples to prospective clients.
  • Manage international communications and provide necessary support to the sales team.
  • Maintain comprehensive sales tracking reports for performance analysis.
  • Engage with clients to provide ongoing sales support and follow-ups.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in export sales administration.
  • A degree in International Business or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in written English.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, documentary credits, and essential export documentation.
  • Knowledge of regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and customer-focused.
  • A collaborative team player.
