Job Overview:

The Export Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing various administrative and operational tasks related to international trade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare competitive quotes for clients.
  • Investigate and evaluate various transportation methods to optimize shipping.
  • Input and track orders within the ERP system for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee administrative duties associated with export operations.
  • Understand and manage international shipping terms, including Incoterms.
  • Facilitate communication regarding order processing and delivery schedules.
  • Handle invoicing, payment processing, and any necessary refunds.
  • Maintain updated pricing structures and sales conditions.
  • Regularly update the customer database to ensure accurate records.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve transport-related issues promptly.
  • Coordinate the sending of product samples to prospective clients.
  • Manage international communications and provide necessary support to the sales team.
  • Keep detailed sales tracking reports to monitor performance.
  • Engage with clients for follow-ups and additional sales support.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in export sales administration.
  • A degree in International Business or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in written English.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, documentary credits, and export documentation.
  • Knowledge of regulations regarding dangerous goods transportation.
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and customer-focused.
  • A collaborative team player.
