DFD EST is seeking a dedicated Survey and Studies Officer to join our team in Saint-Laurent-de-Mûre. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of our projects.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

Tender Analysis and Preparation
  • Conducting thorough site visits to assess project requirements.
  • Analyzing client needs and specifications outlined in CCTP documents.
  • Identifying potential risks and constraints associated with construction sites.
  • Collaborating with the Business Manager to develop accurate cost estimates for tenders.
  • Preparing comprehensive technical reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Creating detailed bid schedules outlining project timelines and milestones.
  • Generating technical drawings (D-D) to illustrate proposed solutions.
  • Performing precise measurements and recording data using Excel and internal software.
  • Interpreting and analyzing asbestos surveys to ensure compliance with regulations.
Asbestos Expertise
  • Adhering to current asbestos regulations and industry best practices.
  • Staying abreast of evolving regulatory developments in the field of asbestos management.
  • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of DFD EST's asbestos system and procedures.
  • Possessing comprehensive knowledge of materials and products containing asbestos.
  • Understanding the inherent risks associated with asbestos removal work.
  • Adapting removal processes to specific site conditions and project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A commercial or technical background is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience in the field of asbestos management or construction is highly desirable.
