FPSO Hull Engineering Supervision

Overview

The project involves the development of a subsea production system linked to a floating production storage and offloading unit (FPSO) designed for high capacity output, accompanied by a comprehensive Technical Referential.

The appointed professional will be responsible for overseeing and validating the work performed by the EPSCC Contractor and their subcontractors in relation to a significant FPSO conversion initiative.

Work Schedule and Location

Work Arrangement: Residential

Weekly Commitment: 5 days

The role will initially be based at the contractor's offices and will transition to the shipyard for the duration of the project.

Engagement Duration

Start Date: Negotiable Contract Length: 1 year with potential for renewal

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise Hull engineering tasks executed by the EPSCC Contractor and its subcontractors.

- Conduct timely reviews and provide feedback on engineering documentation, ensuring alignment with Hull deliverables.

- Collaborate with engineering specialists and stakeholders as necessary.

- Monitor and assess plans for the delivery of Hull-related equipment.

- Ensure the contractor's verification processes for equipment packages are effectively followed.

- Oversee construction and integration activities pertaining to the Hull and associated packages.

- Contribute to the planning and execution of Hull-related tasks.

- Supervise mechanical completion and commissioning efforts for Hull and related systems.

- Review and ensure compliance of Hull construction activities with design specifications.

- Address engineering clarifications, deviation requests, and technical challenges proactively.

- Manage site queries, technical inquiries, and non-conformance reports during execution.

- Provide comprehensive reporting, highlighting critical issues and proposing corrective measures.

- Track material take-off qualities and bill of quantities for the Hull package, ensuring regular updates.

Expected Deliverables

The selected candidate will oversee and approve Hull-related activities carried out by the EPSCC contractor and its subcontractors, ensuring successful and timely project execution.

Qualifications
  • Proficient knowledge in Hull Engineering, Procurement, and Construction within Oil & Gas sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supervising vessel delivery and shipyard operations in Oil & Gas projects.

· Experience in FPSO construction projects is essential.

  • Detail-oriented and solution-focused approach to task completion.
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
