As the Global Commodity Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the purchasing strategy for key commodities across Daher's global operations. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost savings initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, fostering strong partnerships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Negotiate and secure long-term framework agreements with strategic suppliers, optimizing pricing and terms.
- Monitor commodity performance, analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with regional purchasing teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of purchasing plans.
- Lead the development and implementation of the Purchasing Productivity Plan, driving cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement.
