About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team and ensure seamless daily operations. In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in maintaining customer satisfaction by overseeing storage areas, transportation logistics, and contributing to the overall commercial success of our agency.
Your Responsibilities:- Develop and mentor your team through training programs, coaching sessions, and individual performance reviews.
- Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new team members.
- Provide daily leadership to your team, including scheduling meetings, preparing work assignments, managing leave requests, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Oversee the flow of goods, ensuring efficient incoming and outgoing shipments and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to reconcile physical stock levels with computer records, organize rolling and annual inventories, and manage any discrepancies or losses.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by ensuring proper upkeep of storage areas, loading/unloading spaces, and equipment maintenance.
- Address and resolve any customer disputes promptly and professionally.
You possess proven experience managing sales or logistics teams and are seeking a dynamic and versatile operational role with direct customer interaction. You excel at leading and motivating your team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. You are proficient in computer tools and have a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
A CACES 3 certification is highly valued but not mandatory.
