Auburn-Washburn Unified School District is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian Substitute to join our team.
Job Summary
The Custodian Substitute will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean physical learning environment for students and staff. This includes ensuring all classrooms, hallways, and common areas are tidy and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Restock supplies and materials as needed
- Assist with special events and projects as required
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
What We Offer
Auburn-Washburn Unified School District offers a competitive hourly rate of $10.71 and a 12-month contract. This is an on-call position, so hours will vary. However, you will have the opportunity to work a flexible schedule and enjoy a positive and professional work environment.
