Auburn-Washburn Unified School District is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian Substitute to join our team.
Job Summary
The Custodian Substitute will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean physical learning environment for students and staff. This includes cleaning classrooms, hallways, and other areas of the school, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, and other areas of the school
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing leaky faucets
- Ensure that all areas of the school are safe and accessible for students and staff
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve common goals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
