Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at American President Lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a large company or accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficient in financial software, including SAP and Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
