Internal Control Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Officer to join our team at Société Générale Assurances. As an Internal Control Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of our internal control framework, which is designed to mitigate risks and ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the definition, implementation, and maintenance of our internal control framework, ensuring it remains adequate, proportionate, and fit for purpose.
- Develop and maintain a continuous improvement process for our internal control framework, ensuring it remains effective and efficient over time.
- Contribute to the definition, implementation, and maintenance of Level 1 controls (L1C) framework for our organization, ensuring it is aligned with our risk management strategy.
- Act as the ultimate owner of our L1C Library and main correspondent on it for all stakeholders, ensuring it remains up-to-date and aligned with our L1C framework.
- Ensure that LOD1 Business Owners are well-identified, animate the LOD1 Business Owners community, and contribute to the definition, implementation, and maintenance of L1C framework in their respective perimeter.
- Develop and animate the LOD1 Internal Control community, raising awareness and expertise through dedicated trainings, radio calls, operational guidelines, workshops, etc.
- Consolidate, challenge, and analyze L1C quarterly campaigns' results for our organization, ensuring timely reporting to our management and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the improvement of data quality management and interact with various stakeholders, including LOD1 Business Owners, LOD1 Internal Control Coordinators, L2C teams, LOD3 teams, and SG Group supervisors.
- Proven ability to discuss with the business, adopting an independent partner posture while understanding concerns.
- Good knowledge of the regulatory and risk environment in the financial sector or in a regulatory/supervisory control body.
- Knowledge of the Leasing business is an advantage.
- Autonomy, ability to make decisions, responsibility.
- Analytical skills.
- Curious and rigorous.
- Good communication, coordination, convincing, and motivating skills.
- Advanced usage of Excel is mandatory.
- Min 3 years of experience.
