ConMed is seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations in Lyon, France. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient functioning and optimal utilization of resources for our French logistic organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
  • Enforce safety regulations and practices to create a safe working environment.
  • Manage the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent discrepancies and optimize inventory levels.
  • Coordinate local demo and loaner accounts to provide high-quality service to end customers.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and organization to facilitate smooth workflow and minimize handling costs.
  • Collaborate with other functions and the Regional EU DC to meet inventory needs and customer demands.
  • Utilize ConMed ERP and other technology tools to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the warehouse, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistic processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of verbal and written French and English.
