Position: Investment Reporting Specialist at SMABTP
The Reporting division within the Investments Department is growing and now comprises five team members alongside a manager. The core responsibilities of this team include generating financial statements for the Group's investment portfolio, which amounts to 30 billion, in addition to regulatory documentation pertinent to these investments. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing reports for executive management, financial directors, and actuaries
- Overseeing financial projections and returns
- Preparing regulatory documents for governing bodies and rating agencies
- Monitoring exposures, investment thresholds, and compliance ratios
- Ensuring data integrity through reconciliations with both internal and external market data
- Implementing strategies to guarantee data precision and dependability
- Creating analytical tools for the team utilizing SAS, SQL, and Excel/VBA
- Providing occasional support for colleagues' tasks
This position provides a holistic perspective on the Group's investment operations, facilitating interaction with various departments and offering avenues for professional advancement. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, a minimum of two years' experience in middle office or reporting functions, familiarity with derivatives, and technical proficiency in programming. A keen eye for detail, independence, and collaborative spirit are essential attributes for this role.
