EURHASI is seeking a Forest Sustainability Program Manager (M/F)

Our client offers a variety of solutions aimed at assisting members and partners in enhancing supply chain transparency, addressing environmental and social challenges, and evaluating supplier performance to fulfill ambitious responsible sourcing commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and refine strategies for monitoring the impacts of supply chains on forests and ecosystems.
  • Partner Management: Oversee relationships with external partners involved in delivering forest and ecosystem solutions.
  • Business Growth: Collaborate with relationship managers to foster business development initiatives.
  • Process Oversight: Communicate requirements to EF Global Data Teams and oversee solution workflows.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor income, manage contracts, track expenses, and prepare financial reports.
  • Product Improvement: Enhance and maintain solution products.
  • Industry Participation: Engage in relevant industry working groups and events.
  • Impact Reporting: Develop internal and external communications to highlight the impact of solutions.

You are driven by problem-solving and committed to creating practical solutions that promote forest-positive actions within global supply chains. Your genuine interest in forestry, agriculture, family farming, and social education will help ensure that assessment and monitoring solutions are effective and lead to measurable changes in supply chains. You believe in leveraging technology and partnerships to foster a sustainable future for our forests and land use.

As a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset, you are dedicated to enabling informed decision-making. Your proven leadership abilities, combined with your experience managing complex projects in dynamic, multicultural environments, will be invaluable in this role.

With a keen interest in your colleagues' work, empathy for their challenges, a non-judgmental approach, and a clear vision for progress, you excel in uniting people around shared objectives. You are organized and capable of working independently while managing priorities effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • Undergraduate or Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental management, forestry, engineering, remote sensing/GIS) preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience, including product development and exposure to government, private sector, supply chains, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with a positive impact on sustainability.
  • Full-time position, open-ended.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is required.
  • Citizenship or valid work authorization in the country is necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or relevant experience in a related field/sector (e.g., environmental management, forestry, engineering, remote sensing/GIS).
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
