Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Shift Leader to join our team at Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort. As a key member of our Housekeeping Management team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of housekeepers to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service are maintained in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily briefings with housekeeping staff to review tasks and goals
  • Manage and supervise all tasks of the housekeeping team, including room cleaning, linen management, and equipment maintenance
  • Conduct regular room checks to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
  • Attend to reports of damage or malfunction in hotel rooms and take corrective action
  • Record room status and report any issues to the Executive Housekeeper
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in assessing team members' attendance and performance
  • Support the housekeeping team during peak periods to ensure efficient room cleaning and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel environment, preferably in a four or five-star hotel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
