Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Risk Management Specialist to join our EU Compliance advisory team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting regulatory engagement and implementing the company's compliance program across the EU region.

About Moody's Compliance Function

The Moody's Compliance function operates globally to provide compliance support, guidance, and implementation to its business lines. This role is part of the EU Compliance advisory team responsible for implementing and administering the company's internal compliance program across the EU region.

Responsibilities

  • Support responses to regulatory requests, including preparing materials for internal preparation of staff for regulatory interactions, drafting regulatory responses, and advising the business
  • Support Compliance regulatory engagement (preparation, review, submission of the regulatory reports to the relevant regulatory authorities)
  • Provide day-to-day business advisory services in the region in coordination with the global and EMEA Compliance team
  • Lead or participate in Compliance projects and initiatives, as well as provide guidance on business initiatives
  • Prepare Compliance presentations to staff and support team management and board reporting
  • Participate in other core Compliance responsibilities as necessary, including policies review and drafting and training

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in an evolving regulatory environment and contribute to the success of our Compliance program. If you have a strong academic background, preferably in law, and 6+ years of experience within a financial industry regulator, law firm, and/or Compliance department of a regulated financial services firm, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background, preferably in law
  • 6+ years of experience within a financial industry regulator, law firm, and/or Compliance department of a regulated financial services firm
  • Excellent fluent verbal and written communications skills in English, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels in the organization and solid drafting skills
  • Pro-active, flexible, diligent, and dependable, with high attention to detail
  • Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to multi-task, work independently under limited supervision, and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent computer competence in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Compensation and Benefits

Our estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
