Job Title: Reservations Agent
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reservations Agent to join our team at Mercure Gold Coast Resort. As a key member of our Reservations team, you will be responsible for accurately processing bookings, managing guest relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bookings, including FIT and group reservations, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with guests and clients to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and report on market trends to assist the Director of Sales & Marketing and Revenue team.
- Produce reports and statistics as requested, including business turnaways and group forecasts.
- Assist with the management of payments, cancellations, rooming lists, and terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with the Reservations Supervisor to allocate hotel inventory and manage group reservations.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Passion for guest engagement and sales approach.
- Previous experience in Opera PMS preferred.
- Flexibility to work days/hours to suit business needs, including weekends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
