**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Shopper Insights Manager to join our team at General Mills. As a key member of our Category and Shopper Insights team, you will be responsible for leading global insight and data analytics initiatives to drive business growth and inform strategic decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and drive global insight on FMCG and categories, including inflation, price elasticity, market and consumer trends.
- Support the understanding of new channels, including discounters, e-commerce, convenience, and out-of-home, and size business opportunities.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis on specific topics as needed.
- Participate in the Market Acceleration team to launch relevant studies and animate their use.
- Support teams for Nielsen briefings and other studies.
- Leverage analysis capabilities to bring more autonomy and responsibility to teams.
**Internal and External Relationships**
- Coordinate relationships with external vendors, including quarterly collaboration meetings, presentation organization, site facilitation, and training.
- Challenge providers to deliver accurate studies at the best cost.
- Coordinate locally launched studies by the regional team.
- Manage the Shopper Insight budget.
**Tools and Analysis**
- Update weekly reports.
- Update monthly reports and provide monthly analysis.
- Conduct quarterly updates at Comex on key facts and insights, fueling CBR.
- Provide data for internal tools.
- Transition with Nielsen's new tool and create new reports.
- Have a strong knowledge of data tools (datasharing): what information, where.
**Requirements**
- University or business school degree.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ideal experience within panelists (IRI, Kantar, Nielsen).
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
