Role Overview
As a Lead Client Relationship Manager at Freshworks, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth within established accounts in the Italian market. Your assigned accounts will be crucial to the expansion of our business in the region. You will work collaboratively with various teams across Freshworks to oversee all facets of the sales cycle, including business development, lead management, qualification, evaluation, and closing deals. As a brand advocate, you will promote our cutting-edge Software-as-a-Service solutions to enhance organizational productivity, efficiency, and customer focus.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with your manager to devise and implement strategic plans for your accounts, consistently surpassing sales targets through effective stakeholder engagement, prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by managing multiple activities concurrently. Cultivate, oversee, and monitor customer relationships and installations within your accounts. Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to your accounts, gaining a deep understanding of their primary business challenges. Work closely with Customer Success Managers within your account teams to focus on both customer retention and portfolio growth, leveraging insights and product adoption data to identify growth opportunities. Utilize available resources effectively, including MRE, SDR, Pre-Sales, Support, Project Managers, and Product Marketing Managers to achieve your sales objectives. Provide regular updates on pipeline status and sales forecasts. Stay informed about competitive landscape, market trends, and product offerings. Engage in team-building and company development initiatives, including strategy formulation, sales training, marketing campaigns, and customer support. Travel to client locations as necessary to support sales initiatives.Required Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in sales, ideally in an Account Manager capacity within a fast-paced software sales environment. Familiarity with SaaS, CSM, CRM, or ITSM is a plus. A strong desire to introduce new teams to Freshworks solutions to maximize revenue; you embody both a nurturing and closing mentality. Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets across a broad geographic area while selling technical products. Highly motivated individual with a focus on execution, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to the Freshworks mission. Capable of going beyond mere relationship management. Customer-centric with exceptional communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to consult effectively to understand and support our customers.
