- As an Underwriting Assistant Engineering, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of existing contracts and issuing new contracts for lead and co-insurance business, including international programs.
- You will perform preparatory technical analysis for underwriting decisions and provide underwriting support during all phases of portfolio management.
- Additionally, you will check underwriting agreements and validate the wordings of standard contracts negotiated by the underwriter.
- You will also prepare covernotes and insurance certificates, gather necessary data for contract issuance and invoices, and ensure the quality of recorded data in IT systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on the engineering branch.
- Excellent knowledge of the insurance industry and its practices.
- Strong customer orientation, commercial, and negotiation skills.
- High self-motivation, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility.
- Good ability for self-organization and ability to work independently.
- Ability to cooperate and work in a team.
- Solid handling of MS Office applications.
- Very good French and English language skills (business fluent).
