The Technical Department at Egis Water and Maritime comprises a dedicated team of professionals, totaling 150 individuals, working across two primary locations.
We are in search of a seasoned Project Engineering Manager to oversee operations within the flood risk and water resource division, leading a team of 20 engineers who focus on hydraulic studies, particularly those related to upstream assessments.
Key Technical Areas:
- Hydrological and hydraulic modeling techniques
- Development of flood protection strategies
- Mitigation of flood risk vulnerabilities
- Cost-benefit assessments
- Implementation of flood warning systems
- Creation of emergency response plans
- Conducting hazard assessments
- Water resource management studies
- Adaptation strategies for climate change
Core Responsibilities:
- Engage in the preparation of tenders and project bids
- Oversee technical production and manage team activities
- Ensure validation of technical contributions and deliverables
- Present project deliverables to clients and engage in technical discussions
- Coordinate production efforts with various entities and partners
- Provide regular updates on project progress
National and international travel may be a requirement for this position.
Applicants should possess a Master's Degree in hydraulic engineering, with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of both French and international regulations is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic software are critical for success in this role.
