Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor a team of finance analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial reports and analysis.
- Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries related to general accounting, tax, and complex subjects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Review and prepare balance sheet accounts reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare month-end reports for the consolidation team at the Head Office in Montreal, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Participate in year-end audits and other internal and external audits, providing expert financial analysis and support.
- Accounting or Finance university degree or professional accounting designation (DEC, DSCG, DCG, CPA, or equivalent).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Proficiency in BMD and/or MS Dynamics accounting system, with knowledge of SAP and OneStream consolidation system a strong asset.
- Fluency in French and English, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
- Background in audit a strong asset.
