Quantum Computing Patent Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IP & Grants Manager to join our team at C12 Quantum Electronics. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate documentation and legal protection of our innovations in quantum computing.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the creation and editing of patent applications, ensuring precise and comprehensive documentation of our quantum computing innovations.
- Work closely with our scientists, engineers, IP counsel, and inventors to convey complex technical information accurately, meeting both technical and legal standards.
- Define and implement the strategy for patent extensions, tracking patent applications in collaboration with IP law firms and managing patent-related processes.
- Conduct freedom-to-operate studies and support other departments, including contracts, corporate law, HR, mergers & acquisitions, and tax.
- Support the writing and editing of critical technical documents, including research reports and grant proposals, to support our ongoing projects.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all technical documents, adhering to the highest standards of technical writing.
- Develop and maintain templates and documentation standards to streamline documentation processes and ensure consistency across all materials.
We are looking for a candidate with a master's degree or PhD in a technical field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related field. You should have at least 5 years of experience in technical writing, with a strong emphasis on patent writing. Experience as a patent agent or IP counsel is highly preferred.
You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, as well as exceptional organizational skills. You should be able to understand and clearly explain complex technical concepts, particularly in the fields of quantum physics and quantum computing.
